Does HyperX Cloud II work w/ Windows 10 Sonic via its DAC?

Hello.

I intend to purchase a pair of HyperX Cloud II's. I am aware they have built-in 7.1 surround sound using the provided adapter. Is it possible to use this headset with the Windows 10 Sonic 7.1 Surround Sound using the USB DAC?

I know Windows 10 Sonic will work if I plug the headset straight into my computer, but my computer does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. I need to use the provided USB DAC, but if I do not like the HyperX 7.1 I would like to try if the Windows 10 Sonic 7.1 will work.

Will it work? If I open the headphones option in the Sound control panel, will there be an option for "Spatial Sound"?

I have the same headphones and yes the option is there in the drop down for Windows sonic and Dolby Atmos. I have not tested it but the option is available.

Update: I emailed Kingston about it. You CAN use the HyperX Cloud II's with Windows 10 Sonic.
