It should work. The Z87's had the bios update a dew months before the new devil's canyon cpu's were introduced for sale. Newegg has a good turnover so that there probably isn't any of the old boards without the bios up date in stock. Once you get you system together, it won't be a bad idea to update the bios to the latest version if another one is available.
