Depends... does your case have good airflow?

What are you going to be using the system for?

What are the rest of the system spec's?

Stock fan is fine. Just don't wrap your system in blankets and you should be good.

The stock cooler is adequate since you can't overclock the 7700 and for the most part, it probably won't be necessary to get an aftermarket cooler unless your environment is extra-warm, your case doesn't have good airflow, or you find the stock fan too noisy.

every cpu needs some sort of cooling, youll need atleast the interl stock fan, maybe something better if it runs hot
