So I was watching a YouTube video on how to replace your graphics card and I saw at the end the video said that you had to reset Windows. When resetting Windows does this completely reset your computer's memory or not?

(By the way I am replacing my integrated graphics of Intel Family HD with a GTX 750 Ti)

they will either be on a cd that came with the card, or you can go to the manufacturer's website to get them. should just be on an included cd with the card if you got it new.

even tough you were using integrated graphics, it is still wise to uninstall the drivers for it. go to the control panel-device manager and select your "display adapter" and the from the driver tab uninstall it. do this BEFORE installing the new card. the new card will deisplay with a generic driver until you install your new one.
you will want to uninstall the old drivers for your old card. and then install the new drivers once the new card is installed.

that is all you should expect to have to do for a new video card. you won't need to reinstall windows or anything like that.

well sense u had no GPU that means u dont have any old discrete GPU drivers installed

so in a nutshell: 1- plug that GTX 750TI in the motherboard

2- download Nvidia drivers from their site install them and restart your pc and you're done

I would recommend uninstalling the Intel graphics drivers before installing the new graphicscard, the computer will run anyway, reinstalling Windows isn't really something you have to do though. Just make sure you download GeForce Experience when you've installed the new graphicscard and then get new drivers from there.

So how/where would I find and install the drivers for the new card?
