does integrated graphics card and gpu work togather

all cpu has integrated graphics now .will the additional gpu work along with the integrated one while gaming or the add gpu only will work

Normally, nope.

But AMD has a solution called Dual-Graphics which does exactly what you're asking. But only works when using certain AMD APUs with certain AMD graphics cards, but not always works as wanted. Its resulting performance is questionable, sometimes increases and sometimes decreases, depending on the game.

Nope.

Only AMD has this kind of solution. With Intel, even you have a discrete GPU installed, i think you still can use the iGPU for QuickSync.
