Hi. Im soon upgrading my setup and im getting a new gtx 1080TI. I heard that its smart to pair it with a intel i7-7700k, but i dont know if it fits my motherboard. if you know if it does please reply. thank you for the help 😀
IF you want to know what is required best look at socket.
MOBO -> LGA1150
7700k CPU -> LGA1151
So NO it will not work in that socket -> that MOBO will need other CPU or you need new MOBO.

What CPU do you have currently? Most of the Haswell/Devil's Canyon i7's are plenty of processing power to keep up with a 1080 ti, I have my 4770K paired with a 1080 ti and it games quite well at 1080P/144hz or 2560x1080P and would easily handle up to a single 4K/60hz monitor/HDTV.
btw do any of you have good gaming monitors you could suggest. Mine has screen tearing and i adaptive v-sync does not fix it. Thats why i want to upgrade my gpu and get a 144hz monitor
Gsync should fix any kind of tearing, with a higher refresh tearing is less noticeable but is still there. I'm broke so I was only able to buy a non Gsync monitor but keeping Vsync on seems to stop the tearing for me.
