Does it exist a solution for the message 'this account's email is already associated with another member'?

I used tom's Hardware a couple of times under my gmail account but I when I attempted to login back again to the forum using my existing google account credentials I've got this message "This account's email is already associated with another member". Therefore I couldn't login and as a result I had to create a secondary account to use the forum by registering another email which I dont check very often.

Does it exist a way to repair or solve this problem?. I don't know what's going on.
