My friend bought a Motherboard from MSI B450M Gaming Plus and we do not know if a Icore 5 - 7500 will fit in it

Whether a CPU works for a certain Mobo predicates on the SOCKET. The Mobo is said to have a SOCKET X, then all CPU that can fit into a socket X will work. Must consult Mobo's manual. If u already have CPU on your hands, there is a precise part number stamped on it, look it up on the web spec and it will tell you what SOCKET this CPU belongs to. If buying new CPU Amazon I5-7500 SOCKET. Does it HAVE to be 7500? Any I5 won't do?

Unfortunately the i5 7500 is not compatible with a b450 motherboard. Your motherboard has a AM4 socket, and it will only work with AMD ryzen processors. No intel cpu will work with that motherboard
