Does It Have the Horsepower?

Hey, everyone!
I recently picked up a GTX 970 over the holidays. I bought a model from a local Best Buy, built by Nvidia (100% as reference as it gets) with the reference blower style 980/780Ti/Titan cooler. I had no idea there were 970's like this, so I immediately picked it up. My question is, would this model have the ability to drive ASUS's ROG Swift G-Sync 1440p 144hz PG278Q Monitor at decent frames? My goal was eventually to get 2 970's in SLI, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to find another reference card like this. Thoughts?

single one will run it fine no problem and 2nd one doesnt have to be exact one as long as its gtx 970.

even a single 970 has plenty of raw power. and since you consider to get g-sync panel in games where it is demanding g-sync will help in that situation.
