Question Does it make sense to buy more RAM

Specs right now:

cpu: i5-9600k
gpu: RTX 2070
motherboard: GIGABYTE Z370P D3
RAM: Corsair 16 GB DDR4-2666 2x8

I was thinking about buying two more sticks of RAM to increase my total RAM to 32GB. Would that make sense for my system? Would that improve my gaming performance?

If you do want to bump up the capacity of your ram, you should source the same kit you currently have. To add, your platform would benefit from a DDR4-3200MHz kit as opposed to your DDR4-2666MHz kit.

Mae sure you're on the latest BIOS before you perform the ram upgrade. Also, please don't mix and match.

For gaming there should be no perceptible benefit. Maybe not higher capacity, but faster RAM could make a difference.

I would 2nd EndEffeKt_24 and Lutfij and say the same. You wont need more than 16 GB RAM on that build, but a bit faster can be slightly more beneficial. One of the cheaper yet one of the best solutions will be a 3200 MHz Corsair Vengeance/LPX/Dominator 2x8GB is my suggestion. Unless you make other upgrades, i think this will be as good as it can get you at your current build.
