Question Does it matter how many fans a GPU has?

Hello,

I soon plan on getting a GTX1060 6GB. I mainly prefer to buy the Zotac 1060 because of its price, however, it only has one fan.

Does the single fan reduce its lifetime warranty, compared to a dual fan? I assume that that the heat produced isn't very well distributed with a single fan, compared to a dual fan.

I'm no professional about the insides of a graphics card but I'm wondering if the number of fans on it makes any difference.

I doubt it affects lifespan but a single fan has the potential to be louder under load since it has to work harder.

I’ll never buy a single fan gpu again (mine has three) but a quiet-ish PC is important to me

Go with the DUAL fan push more air keep card cooler

if you want it to be quite get one that is semi passive and will turn fans off completely in idle. if you dont care about some noise get the cheapest.

Single fan cards are fine, they will just be louder and run hotter.

If you have cool ambient temps it will be fine, if you are in a hotter climate (without AC) then I would consider getting one with a better cooler.
