Does it matter what kind of PSU I use with my CPU?

I was looking at power supplies and came across this one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438025 It says Intel 4gen ready. Are they just saying that because it looks good or do you have to have a Intel Power supply with a Intel CPU and a AMD power supply with a AMD CPU. I am planning on upgrading from AMD to Intel and was just wondering. I know about watts and stuff to.

Haswell Ready just means that the psu support the low power state that Haswell cpu can go to. If you use a non-Haswell Ready psu and turn on the C6/C7 states, you crash your pc.
The EVGA B2 750W is an improved revision on the EVGA B1 750W. Get that instead.
