Hey everyone, quick question. I installed steam on my SSD that has my os....but when I install games I put it on my 2tb crucial SSD. The reason why I do this is because one launcher from my flight simulator said that if I installed it without it being on my main drive where my OS is, I'll see issues. So what I'm asking is, if I were to install Uplay, should I install the actual launcher on my Os SSD then download games on the crucial...or should I do both on the crucial and it shouldn't matter?

Solution
should not matter really. no idea why the flight sim suggested otherwise.

about the only thing i can think of is that the flightsim might end up with used files split between the drives causing hiccups as it transitions to read that data. but that's just a guess. wherever you install the game itself to, all the files should be there in one spot and ready to go. i've never seen any reason to worry about it myself and also have steam games on a different drive than the steam program itself.
