Question Does it matter which MB I buy?

I want to buy a motherboard (for gaming, somewhat obvious), I picked the size (micro-ATX), the socket (AM4) and the chipset (B450) but there's still a decent amount of MBs. Should I just go with the bestseller?
If it matters, I need future upgradability to a better CPU and graphics card (though I assume any MB would be good enough) and that's really only it.

It depends on the manufacture, quality, and VRM.

Asrock and MSI are usually pretty good.
Which of their motherboards would you consider?

ASRock B450M-HDV
ASRock B450M Pro4
MSI B450M BAZOOKA / BAZOOKA V2
MSI B450M PRO-M2 / PRO-M2 V2
MSI B450M PRO-VDH PLUS / PRO-VDH V2
MSI B450M GAMING PLUS

Doesn't really matter, preferably the cheapest, tough there's barely any price difference.

I'd go with the ASRock B450M Pro4, as it seems to be pretty good.

I usually look at the VRM, the VRM cooling, quality of the board, ports, and also boards that I've heard more about that one.

At least, that's what I personally do.
Others might do things differently.
