I've had several SSD's in the house. 10, I believe.
Of them, stretching back to 2012, the only two I've had problems with were a Kingston and a SanDisk.
The Kingston HyperX 3k 120GB (2012) still works, but it is significantly slower over the years.
The SanDisk just died suddenly and completely, after just over 3 years use.
Now...do those fails apply to ALL models of those brands? No.
But I personally wouldn't buy another one.
And in any case...drives die. All of them.
A good backup routine and warranty is how you get out of that with no issues.
Yes you can.
Depending on your country look into crucail 1tb 2.5in and m.2's they are around 135.00us.
They have read and write speeds
Close to the samsung's but cheaper.
