Hi guys,
i found on amazon refurbished Seagate HDD and i want to know if it safe to buy refurbished hard drives from amazon...?
because i need something like 3 of them and they are sold for good price....

Don`t trust refurbished HDD`s. I bought a refurbished HDD from ebay. It has been on has on for 2400 days and has about 100 days of life left.

As Jasjar said, refurbished drives almost always have thousands of hours put on them which means they have little to no life left. Just go with brand new ones and itl save you so much trouble.

Another thing is it could break on the way to your house. Hard Drives are physically fragile, so they can fail easily if there is too much vibration. However, SSDs are immune to that kind of this, but are not as reliable as an HDD with life expectancy (brand new). Theoretically, a hard drive will last forever, since it's data is physical, but an SSD only has so many write cycles.
