Does it suport the amd fx-9590?

Solution
I don't think the fx9590 is 'dead' , gigabyte has released a new motherboard for it eventhough the zen is coming out in a month or so , you can find that motherboard on amazon , why would they issue a new motherboard for that socket if it was supposedly dead ? apparently it has its own market and people are satisfied with it , if you use it with water cooling there shouldn't be really an issue , only it consumes lots of power
Yes it does, but the bigger question is what processor do you have now? The 9590 is quite expensive and could not be a worthy upgrade to what you are already running. If you are going to spend that much on a processor, you should really go to an Intel i5 or i7.

Yes. Unless you already have a 9590, buying a 5 year old AMD FX cpu on a dead platform when zen comes out in a few months is a terrible idea in my opinion. Not to mention that cpu is a problem ridden unstable monstrosity that I would never recommend to anyone.

They are still making mobos because for some reason people are still buying them. I say its dead because no more cpu's are being made for AM3+. The money it would cost to buy a fx 9590, a motherboard to support it, and a cooler would be about equivalent to an i5 build which would perfom much better than that 9590 without all the issues that come with it.

i have an i5 , i've had another i5 before and two i7's and i don't see how they perform better than AMD . the bright side of AMD's am3+ is their line of cheap motherboards , even if they are 990fx , the motherboards for the 1151 socket are nice and diverse but quite expensive aswell , like i said if you buy AMD you can save on the cpu and mobo and spend the rest on a good gpu or maybe two

I would bet gigabyte made a new motherboard for AM3+ because they saw there was some money to be made, thats usually how it goes. Here are a couple examples of cpu performance in some cpu heavy titles, an i3 beats the 8370 in bf1. I can find more if you want, similar story for most newer games. The fx cpu's still perfom admirably considering their age but they are starting to get left behind.
