If it did, I would need to be a multimillionaire due to replacing the PC's once a month or so.
My systems are generally on 24/7.

I also never turn mine off unless I go on holiday for over a week. Generally this is better for the machine. The turning it off and back on is when the machine is most likely to break.

It is really only the fans that might wear out quicker, but they are easy to keep an eye on and replace.

So in answer to your question, no its fine.
