[SOLVED] Does memory can change our game performance?

I mean atm i have 2x4gb 1600 and 2x8gb 2400 but they all run at 667 mhz should i change the setting in the bios to make all of them run at 800mhz and will it make somes difference ingame?
PS: I probably cant make 2 of them run at 800mhz and the other at 1200mhz right? (They need to run at the same speed (highest similar speed right?)?

You can try it. I think it should work....but as far as how much improvement you will get.....I don't think you will get a lot.

...and as far as two different frequencies for the memory....there is only one frequency.

You're probably better off just running the 2x8 GB sticks at 1200 MHz. 16 GB of RAM is more than enough for gaming.

i wouldn't change anything. you are mixing and matching ram so you are lucky your PC is able to boot at all.

they are both 2x4gb and 2x8gb in dual channel so its normal they work fine ^^"
