Does motherboard asrock support up to 2666mhz but i want to put ram ddr4 with speed 3000mhz

I have motherboard asrock H310M-HDV support ram ddr4 up to 2666mhz only.. but can i upgarde the ram ddr4 with speed 3000mhz.? My processor is core i5 8gen..
