Does motherboard come with pre-applied thermal paste?

I'm thinking of buying a new cpu and was just wondering do i have to buy thermal paste or does it come pre-applied?😵

The CPU comes with thermal paste which you have to apply after setting it into the MoBo.

Yep, in CPU's box, unless you buy OEM version.

Retail CPUs that come with heat sinks normally come with thermal paste pre-applied. OEM processors (no heat sink) may or may not. Either way, It's a good idea to have some available since if you ever remove the heat sink after it's come into contact with the processor, you'll need to remove the paste and re-apply it.
