Hello
Yes i purchased this m/b since a decade . I want to bring my old pc to live again.
M/b Equiped with 4gb ram , core 2 quad cpu. Pcie x16. Intel g31 chipset.

Will it boot from nvme ?

Solution
There are no ten year old motherboards that support NVME PCIe M.2 drives. In fact, there are no ten year old motherboards that I'm aware of that support M.2 SATA drives either. You will be lucky if your bios even supports a SATA 3.0 SSD. It's likely that it will only support a 2.0 SSD but since they are generally backwards compatible it should work.

For your system, you'd see no benefit from an NVME drive anyhow. It's too old and slow to even utilize the throughput.
