Please note that Samsung NVMe SSDs use the “M-Key” (to leverage PCIe x4 for maximum performance) and cannot be plugged into an M.2 slot with a “B-Key”.

By the specs you should be good but you will have to be weary of how many drives you have plugged in and where your GPU is located at. You won't be able to use the PCI-e slot directly beside the M.2 slot, one will get disabled by default.

I have a single HDD sata drive at the moment and I would like to use a NVMe SSD about which I've raised this question. I can see one of the PCI slots vacant and the other one is blocked by GPU, that's all right as I need only 1 vacant.

Can you elaborate on this - Please note that Samsung NVMe SSDs use the “M-Key” (to leverage PCIe x4 for maximum performance) and cannot be plugged into an M.2 slot with a “B-Key”?

Which one does my mother board have?
