Does msi z97 gaming 5 fit intel i7 4790k?

My motherboard is msi z97 gaming 5 and cpu is i5 4670,if i buy a new cpu i7 4790k,does it fit?thx

Yes - cpu and motherboard are socket lga1150. Z97 is made for Haswell Refresh/Devils Canyon which includes i7 4790k
