Does my 2500k run too hot?

Hi guys,

I got my d14 running an hour ago. I ran 5 intel burn tests on maximum and the temps are the following:
core1 -53
core2-59
core3-61
core4-58

Are they too high? My room temp is about 25degrees. The processor runs at 30,34,37,34 at idle.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
If your room temp is 25, then those are good temps. If your room temp was 20/21 I would assume around 50C around all cores. To me its perfectly normal. Although I would expect the D14 to be running around 4/5 C less, but maybe that is because of your thermal paste. But anyway, nothing to worry about.

Your temperatures are perfectly fine for your room temperature. Usually the guys that post benchmarks test in 21 C room temperatures which is considered an average room temp. 59/61 degrees with ambient room temperature of 25 is a good result. Also for 2500k all temps below 70 are very good. 79/80 is what I consider a maximum during stress test for Sandy Bridge chips.
