Well it starts here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qBQRPs
It says my case can have a 160mm cpu cooler but my cooler is 161mm. Does 1mm really matte?, will it still fit or should I change case? Even though the NZXT Elite case can have 161mm coolers and pc part picker says its fine but it dosent accept 160mm

Solution
1 millimeter matters, it means that you must push to close the case and could damage cpu, socket or mainboard, also the heatsink can end damaged, bent, especially the heatpipes

if you manage to make it fit, heat will be transferred to the left panel, if it happens to be acrylic it will end scratched too, in this case is glass and it will not bent at all, as the acrylic or metallic panels on other cases

as you say, is just 1 millimeter, but is pressure over many parts

i think it will fit i have seen other with same situation but with like 4-5MM difference here check this

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2136443/cpu-cooler-touching-case.html
he hgas difference of
"From CM: "CPU cooler height: 155mm / 6.1 inch"
That cooler is 158mm."

I am in same situation i have CM 690 III and i am gonna buy Coolermaster Air Maker 8 CPU Cooler THe Cooler is 172MM and cabinet length of cpu cooler given is 171.....
but i am gonna buy it😀
