Does my core 2 duo E7500+ motherboard support ddr3 ram

Hi guys,I have a HP core 2 duo E7500 2.93 ghz pc and its motherboard is Hewlett-Packard 2820h (XU1 PROCESSOR),will it support ddr3 ram?

It does not depends on the processor if it supports ddr2 or ddr3 it depends on the motherboard but since you got a Branded pc I doubt you can get a ddr3 motherboard for it & there is like a 2% performance difference between DDR2 and DDR3 with the Core2Duo

All you can do is take the Core2Duo out of the pc ,the dvd drive & the dedicated graphic card if you have one but you'll have to buy rest of the parts new psu , mobo g41 ddr3 motherboard , ddr3 ram & Windows too but at this point it's useless to build such an out of dated & obsolete pc

Yeah that will certainly give you a boost as modern games need 8gb ram + one more thing you could do is upgrade your processor to a Core2Quad as it is supported by your motherboard & Core2Quads are cheap these days like 30dollars or so & also you might want to upgrade your graphic card because graphic card matter more for the fps but so does the processor because it could bottleneck a newer stronger graphic card

I sold my Core2Quad Q8400 2.66ghz ( 4mb ) cache this year for 30dollars ,on olx.com I be seeing Core2Quad processors for 40/50dollars

Check the specs on the HP website it would be the best source to know about your pc parts. I think that changing everything in the pc just because of DDR3 memory is just a waste of money.

It would matter a lot what gpu you have.

It would matter a lot what gpu you have.

My graphic card is Nvidia gefore gt 730 ddr3 2 gb
my ram is 4 gb ddr2
my pc is core 2 duo E7500 with Hp 2820h (XUI PRocessor) motherboard,will it run?

I think you'd be lucky if you get 30fps with settings lowered.
