Right now I have a only 1 8gb ram which is 2133mhz.And my motherboard supports max 2133mhz.I want to upgrade to 16gb dual channel. But I couldn't find any 2133mhz ram.So I decided to buy 2x8 3000mhz rams.I did a little research and I find motherboard supposed to downclock 3000mhz speed to 2133mhz.But I am not sure my motherboard can do that.?

Yes it will... depending on what your motherboard supports the memory kit will downclock itself.

Anyways, even if the motherboard supports let's say 3000 MHz memory, initially the memory kit will run at 2133/2400 MHz by default... you need to enable XMP in your BIOS to be able to run at the rated 3000 MHz speed(this obviously won't be possible in your case since the motherboard supports only 2133 MHz memory) .

You get it wrong. My motherboard supports 2133mhz.Rams are 3000mhz

I didn't... I'll quote myself here:

Read my comment again, I'm quite sure you misunderstood my comment... I'm not reffering to your motherboard here. I'm just giving an hypothetical example.

I know that your motherboard only supports 2133 MHz, it's clearly specified on the Gigabyte's website.

In my first paragraph I said that the 3000 MHz memory kit will run at 2133 MHz by default, because that's the maximum your motherboard supports and also because 2133/2400 MHz are the default JEDEC standard speeds for DDR4.
