I am building a new computer with: AMD 3900x CPU, GeForce 2080 Ti card, 32 gigs of G Skill Trident Z (CL 14) RAM mounted on a X570 Gigabyte Aorus Master m/b and using an Arctic liquid freezer on the CPU. All placed inside a Corsair Obsidian case. Spent most of my budget here. Looking for a good 2k monitor (in the $550) to get started with. Suggestions welcomed !

This is what I, and many others around here, are using with our Nvidia cards. Fully compatible with G-sync. Excellent display. Great gaming monitor. Particularly cheap if you live close enough to a Microcenter to go pick one up or can order from one, or can catch a sale on one of these at another vendor since they go on sale pretty frequently.

If you WANT to spend the money on an actual G-sync display, this would be a good option, but personally I'd save the money and go with the G-sync compatible Freesync model.

Darkbreeze,
All the links were very helpful. I went for the higher priced monitor for peace of mind. I appreciate your input !! Can't wait to get this up and running.

Thanks
