Does my GPU fit on MoBo?

I have got an gtx 560 ti and i am about to buy a new pc for it. The pc i found has a Asus p5q-e MoBo in it. The gpu needs 2 6 pin connectors but the MoBo specs tells that it online has a 24 and a 8 pin connector. Will i be able to add 6 pin connectors to it? Anyone has experience with this?

The 6 pin connectors are for the PSU. So you will need to make sure that the PSU has 2 6 pin connectors to run the 560ti. The motherboard will be fine for the 560ti.

A thanks, didnt know that. The PSU is a tx750 watt corsair. Do you know if that one has 6 pins?

Yeah, it does. There will be two cables coming from the PSU that will say PCIe on them. They will be 6+2 pin cables where you can hook them up to a 2 6 pin or 2 8 pin or any other combination.
