Does my monitor have anything to do with my performance in games

i have a GTX 750 TI core i3-3220 and 6 gb ram and i get about 80 fps in very high in league of legends but i just watched a video that got 300 fps and up

I would bet that they are using different hardware.
Are you running 1080p? I think 80 fps is pretty respectable with your hardware @ 1080p and even less than that.....as in...I don't suspect anything is wrong.

The monitor has nothing to do with it.
There are many possibilities.

Thermal throttling
PC just isn't powerful enough.
Something wrong with components.
Windows needs a fresh reinstall.
