Does my Motherboard need to support Integrated Graphics to use the graphics on my CPU?

many CPU's now come with integrated graphics that will function as a very low end graphics card in the place of a real GPU. I get that, but lets say I have a socket FM2+ AMD processor with integrated graphics... Do I need to get a motherboard that supports integrated graphics, or will any motherboard of FM2+ socket type allow me to use the integrated graphics on the CPU? The reason I ask is that on the description of some motherboards under Video Chipset, it says "none".

Airplanegeek is right - but you do need to ensure the motherboard has the video output connectors to allow for your CPU based GPU to output the graphics. Let's use this board for example:

Notice it says 'onboard graphics: none'

However you also see for connectors VGA, DVI and HDMI

This is because the ports are there to support and allow for the CPU videocard/GPU to output to external displays (your monitor)
