Does my motherboard support 7.1 surround sound?

I'm looking for a new headset, I'm looking at the cloud 2 and the cloud revolvers. But I recently found out some motherboards may not support 7.1 surround sound. My motherboard is a B350m-a. Does my motherboard support 7.1?

Realtek® ALC887 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC

8 Channel is 7.1

The Cloud headsets you mentioned use virtual surround, not actual 5.1/7.1 surround. That said, yes, your mobo can decode and output actual 7.1 surround sound so long as you have the gear to reproduce it.
