A B450 Tomahawk would DEFINITELY support 1000 and 2000 generation AMD CPUs. It will support 3000 series CPUs with the proper BIOS update -- https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450-TOMAHAWK#support-cpuHello, so i was searching for a better cpu on pcpartpicker and i didn't see any AMD cpu's ,does my mother board (msi b450 tomahawk) not support AMD cpu's?

With a new Intel motherboard you could upgrade to an I5 10600K which could be overclocked to 5.1 Ghz, but the best bang for your buck will be an AMD Ryzen 5 3200 or better. If this is a gaming build, it is best to put money into the GPU. You can check Gpucheck.com to see which combination of CPU and GPU work best for gaming. As for AMD Ryzen 3000 motherboards, I would go with an X570 rather than the B450.Hello, so i was searching for a better cpu on pcpartpicker and i didn't see any AMD cpu's ,does my mother board (msi b450 tomahawk) not support AMD cpu's?
