Does my motherboard support AMD FX 4300 ?

My motherboard is ASRock N68C-GS FX, it does supports AM3+ Processor, 8-Core CPU.

I have checked the CPU support list , and AMD FX 4300 is there .
But the model is "FD4300WMW4MHK" .
The only model available in my area is AMD FX 4300 "FD4300WMHKBOX".

If I buy an AMD FX 4300 "FD4300WMHKBOX" CPU for my ASRock N68C-GS FX motherboard , is it gonna work or not ?

It will work, just next time look for the chipset compatibility, in your case AM3+ socket. Its very important to keep this in mind.

Pretty sure that the "BOX" in the model number just means that it's a retail CPU (comes with a stock Intel heat sink/cooling fan).

Yes BOX just means it comes with heatskink and fan.
