Hello everyone!
I was wondering if my motherboard supported an Intel processor, preferably an I7, my motherboard is the ASROCK N68-GS4/USB3-FX. I have been meaning to get an Intel processor for quite a while now and I don't know if my mother board can support it.

If someone could tell me, that would be awesome!

There is AMD boards and Intel boards, there is no board that supports both.

Secondly, you have to match the socket. The socket is what ties the CPU to the motherboard and thus they have to be the same socket. A 2nd and 3rd generation intel cpu used socket 1155, then the 4th generation uses a socket 1150, the newst generation uses a socket 1151. Thus you have to have the appropriate motherboard for the appropriate cpu.

Thank you very much :)
