Does my motherboard support booting from NVMe

Hello I have the ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-f gaming with a ryzen 7 1700. and I have a Samsung 860 currently as the boot drive and I have a samsung 970 evo installed. I was wondering if I can boot from the m2 970 evo on Mobo or if it would even be worth switching to it as the boot drive would there be a noticeable difference and can I boot from the 970 Evo ?

Can it be done? - Yes.
Is it worth it? - Probably not. Difference would be imperceivable. Measurable only in benchmarks.

Yes, you could just clone 860 to 970, Difference is not great in normal use but it's perceivable. I have similar setup and can see difference. It would seem ridiculous not to use it if you already have it. Cloning from SSD to SSD takes but few minutes.

Well I use it but ive been using it for games since I was not sure if it was a hassle to get it to boot from it.
