Does my motherboard support dual channel?

I have a msi H310M PRO VDH and I want to know if this supports dual channel.

The reason I'm asking is because I have just one stick of 8gb and I want to know if it was more convenient to have the other slot being used.

Yes it supports dual channel mode but you'll need matching RAM sticks to be sure that you get dual channel operation.
