hey guys, i have this motherboard (https://www.asus.com/cl/Motherboards/970-PRO-GAMING-AURA/specifications/) and wanna know what M2 storage systems it support? i just want to switch my old HDD to a new storage system to reduce in game load times. The other question is, do i need to install a new operating system inside the new storage system if i already have it inside my old HDD(Windows 10 PRO x64)?

what im trying to explain is that i want to stay with my HDD with Windows 10 PRO x64 and get a new storage system to put games on it and get faster load times.

Hope you guys can help me.

-850w cooler master gold standard power supply
-Seidon watercooling
-Thermaltake case
-Windows 10 PRO x64 on a 500 gb HDD.

What version of Windows are you running? I am not familiar with Windows 10 ultimate x 64. Windows 7 was the last version to have an Ultimate version, IIRC.

Personally, I would not add a m.2 SSD to this older system. Rather, I would recommend a fast, reliable, larger capacity, and less expensive SATA SSD (2.5 inch form factor).
