Does my msi z68a-g43 (g3) motherboard support an NVMe M.2 SSD?

I have a msi z68a-g43 (g3) motherboard, and I'm looking at Samsung's 960 EVO ssd. The mobo doesn't have an M.2 slot, but I figured I'd buy one of those PCI-E 3.0 to M.2 adapters. Is this possible? Will my pc be able to boot from the SSD in the PCI-E slot?

I guess the question comes down to whether my mobo supports NVMe technology, and whether I can use the UEFI to select the drive as a boot drive.

Solution
Storage Devices
SATA 3Gb/s4 x SATA 3Gb/s SATA 6Gb/s2 x SATA 6Gb/s SATA RAID0/1/5/10. THESE ARE THE AVAIALBLE STORAGE ON YOUR MOTHERBOARD. So no you board does not support m2. Also your board pcie slots are 2.0 not 3.0
