Does my PC meet the requirements?

Hello, I am looking at getting a new VR system for my pc.
These are the requirements and then here is my pc specs.
How close are they? Do I meet them?
Please dont make fun of me

Requirements
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD R9 290 equivalent or greater
CPU: Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
Memory: 8GB+ RAM
Video Output: Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
USB Ports: 3x USB 3.0 ports plus 1x USB 2.0 port
OS: Windows 7 SP1 64 bit or newer

My Specs
AMD A8-7600 3.1 GHz Processor
8 GB DDR3 RAM
1 TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
Integrated Graphics
Windows 10
My GPU: Gigabyte GT 420 2GB 128-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x 16 ATX Video Graphics Cards GV-N420-2GI REV3

No, they are not close at all. You will need a whole new system to be able to run VR.

Yeah there is no Upgrade to even get you in the ballpark. It won't work at all with your setup

Agreed. You have about 5%(okay, maybe 16%) of the resources necessary for the Vive or Oculus. It's right around $800 to purchase a Vive or an Oculus(with the extra hardware necessary for roomscale). Invest that money into a new PC. Just leave that PC as is(Use Windows' integrated Reset This PC(Click start and type Reset)) and sell it. Might get $250-$300. Later on down the road you will then be prepared for a VR system.

The only part that you can use that you listed is the hdd. You should be able to use the case, and maybe the psu. VR requires a very powerful PC just to meet the minimum requirements.
