Question Does my USB Wifi Adapter show up as WiFi 1 or 2 on Windows 10?

Hi, all. So I just purchased a new USB WiFi adapter and plugged it into my laptop. However, in my network list, it now gives me the option of WiFi or WiFi 2. Which one should I select as to use my new adapter?

more than likely wifi 1 is the built in wifi from the laptop. and wifi 2 is the usb adapter you plugged in. easy way is to disable one of them and see which still works. then you know for sure which is which and then disable the one you're not using.

you can also do it from device manager which will name them by device and make it easy to disable the built in one. the one not named as the adapter you bought, is the built in one.
