Does oem motherboard support q6600

I have an oem motherboard (it says mercury me31qz on the box but in cpuz it says oem), will it support q6600? its q35 chipset motherboad, right now it has pentium dual core e2200

According to the manufacturer's website, it should. But you never know with this knock off brands.

The Q6600 was pretty common among OEMs so I guess you should be fine.
