Does OS Effects game FPS?

Hi all, I currently have a
lenovo h520 with intel core i5 3350p, nvidia gt 630 2gb , 4gb ram and windos 8 pro.

i was thinking, if i change my os to windows 7, will i get better fps on games? is windows 7 better at gaming then windows 8?

the change will barely affect your game prefomance
