Does over-volting an SSD permanently destroy all data

So the other day I wrecked my SSD by mistakenly connecting a SATA power connector directly to the motherboard.
(For reference. Doing this same thing to a HDD and DVD drive caused smoke to shoot out, but no smoke came out of SSD)

Im going to get rid of it.
So does this mean that the SSD is completely wiped? The computer doesn’t recognize anything plugged into sata, so it seems like it.

if you connect them system under power you made a short on board power system there all should plug in and take out system off you might have burn sata port on bard .

Smash it then it will for sure not have anything anymore.

Just do a secure erase. It will become unrecoverable and you can then try to sell it if you want.
