Question Does PBO function on AMD A520 motherboards?

Since one can't OC on these boards, does that mean Precision Boost Overdrive doesn't work? Or perhaps doesn't work as well?

Yes, PBO functions on A520 motherboards and that is why some have been able to get around "no overclocking" barriers by using the BCLK method as that seems to be tied to the PBO feature.

Thank you. But that seems to indicate to me that PBO is maybe a bit handicapped due to the lack of increasing the multi?

Not being able to manually increase the clock frequency has literally nothing to do with the hardware being able to do it automatically. Like I said, it is a matter of the specific board model in terms of what kind of VRM configuration it has, what the CPU model is and how good the cooling is. And nothing else really.
