hello friends,

2. GTX 770
3. Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7950 3GB GDDR5

but these cards need PCI 3.0

i have pci 2.0 , is there any bottleneck, does any performance decrease

i cant spend more money on other mobo

Plzzzzzzzz reply

so can i run these 3 cards support my
mobo??

i am waiting to buy one of them!!!!!!!

as stated above, your motherboard will run the card fine, but you should check your psu to be sure it is enough power and has the right connectors for the card you want.

many prebuilt machines use very low power psu's and they do not upgrade well.

if you don't know about the psu, post your system or psu model (open the case and get it from the label on the side of the power supply) and we can help ensure you are ok to go with the upgrade.

Hi karthikjsv

The PCI 3.0 are meant to be faster and performance oriented . But if you are planning to buy a card which is 3.0 but don't have an updated Mobo then don't worry. The PSU is the main thing. Any decrease in the performance will not be noticeable as such. Just put the best drivers on and its should be ready to rock. Let me know if you have any other questions.

You said pci 2.0.
I think you mean pcie 2.0 which is fine.
If your motherboard has a X16 graphics card slot and you have a 500w psu you are good.
The GTX770 is a stronger card so you might need 550w for that.

Or... I expect the GTX960 to be launched soon which will be very power efficient.

can you tell me which of these cards should i buy to play all games at high FPS and high performance??

1. GTX 770
2. GTX 760
3. Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 With Boost

or any other card which needs less than 650w PSU

Of the three, the GTX770 is the strongest.
If money is not the issue, you can buy a GTX980 which is the strongest single gpu card available today. It will run very well with your PSU.
The GTX980 and the slightly slower GTX970 are a newer generation card runs cooler and actually need the same or less power than the GTX770.

i dont have 650w psu i am saying that i dont buy a card which needs more than 650w psu

Hi

I would recommend ATI HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 . Please see the power supply requirement from this page.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/recommended/power-supplies

It will be able to run on 500 watt as well. Let me know if this solves your question.

Cheers
Amit 🙂

ok thanks but what about gtx 760 and gtx 770

Does HD 7950 gives more performance than gtx 760 and gtx 770?
