Does PCI Express 3.0 means it's only compatible with DDR3 videocards and not ddr2?

and I have a ddr2 video card. is my 1gb ddr2 video card compatible with my board? or do I need to buy a ddr3 video card?

the slots are backwards compatable, meaning you can use any PCIE card in them. The slot just slows down communication to work with the card.

The type pf ram the motherboard uses has nothing to do with what type of vram the gpu can use.

i just use it for photo editing and watching tv series. I'm not really a gamer so don't need a "high-end" specs.
