Does power supply affect pc perfomance

doe power supply affect my pc perfomance? Because when I play games it moves slow likes stuck? I can't speak english very well....

this is my spec;
AMD A6-6400K 3.9Ghz Dual Core
Gigabyte F2A75M-HD2
Antec VP-450
Kingston HyperX Genesis 2x 4GB DDR3 1600mhz 1.65v
Asus Radeon R9-270 Direct CU II OC 2GB GDDR5

Probably, it isn't the cause of your system running slow. Have you run anti-virus/ant-spyware software?

Yes, but I rarely update anti-virus.

Spyware or viruses can make your system slow to a crawl. Update the software and run a scan. That will eliminate that possibility.

It's freeware, but that is all I know about it.

Now, what should i do?

Have you run disk cleanup, disk defragmentor?

Do you have any programs running in the background?

Have you made any recent changes to your system configuration?

Have you checked your RAM with memtest?

What OS do you have? If it is Win 7 or above, you can check for performance issues in Action Center trouble shooter.

I use window 7 home premium 64bit.
Can you guide me how to do that

First open your control panel, and then double click the flag near the top.

Then click on troubleshooting.


Then click on "Check for Performance Issues" near the bottom.

The disk cleanup & disk defragmentor are in "System Tools" under the program "Accessories".
