does power supply explosion damage to the video card? plz help

Solution
Depends what you mean by explosion and also what PSU you have (i am going to assume a small pop not violent explosion). Some PSUs have been designed to protect the computer in case some of the components "explode". If the PSU is from a pre-built computer, chances are these PSUs dont have very good protection for your computer.

So i assume your PSU has stopped working, you should send your computer into a repair shop and tell them test the PC. They will tell you if the parts in the computer no longer work, most places can do this right in front of you and they will be happy to do so if you don't trust them.

Better power supplies will shut down be cause of its power protection circuits. If your power supply melted down then it would depend on which circuit failed. There are 4 different voltages supplied. The motherboard provides the second layer of power protection . Cheap motherboards skip this protection. Now the more expensive gpu will have extra power connectors that goes from the power supply directly to the gpu this bypasses the motherboard power protections and let's a cheap power supply fry your gpu.
You can have a gpu fail and burn out a cheap motherboard and burn out a cheap power supply. Just fyi.
